Yoga for the soul

A unique virtual yoga space for those looking to build and grow sustainable yoga practices so that they can take their yoga practice whenever they go.

Yoga is more than just physical movement on a mat. It’s a constant practice of going inward, learning ourselves, and growing with the knowledge that comes with the practice.

My goal is to share the knowledge I have about the practice in a way that helps you build a stable foundation to grow with the practice regardless of where you are in the world. And aid in helping you find your authentic self.

I aim to honor the traditional of yoga and teach from all 8 limbs of the 8 limb practice of yoga. Asana (physical) classes include a lot of alignment cues and muscle action to help keep your body safe, esp when I can’t physically see or adjust you.

New Classes Every Week:

I’m a firm believer that energy is always changing and what we need in yoga is strongly based on the current universal energy. That’s why I am offering a schedule of 3 rotating classes every week (recorded and live options), in addition to other services. Recorded classes will be available for 24 hours from the day they are scheduled for.

Mondays:

Join me Monday for an hour gentle chakra based flow. Aimed to help cleanse your energy system of all the gunk that Mondays can cause.
All levels of yogis welcome. Class will be a combination of movement (asana) and breath work (pranayama). Class is pre-recorded that day and will be sent out to you via email early Monday afternoon (eastern time). Please sign in before 10am Monday morning (eastern) to receive the recording. Wednesdays:

Join me on 9:30am (est) on Wednesday morning for a little middle of the week vibe session.
You do not have to be baked to enjoy this meditation. Simply there for those who would like the extra chill. (I know some call this cheating, but yoga is different for everyone). Class will be a live on zoom and will be recorded for those who cannot attend.

Saturdays:

Join me Saturdays for a basics class.
Class will be an introduction the philosophy of yoga, postures and moving with the breath. Pre-recorded and will be sent to you early Saturday morning/late Friday night (eastern time). So please sign in before Saturday eastern time.

5 pre-recorded meditations. Each focused on a different yama. Aimed to help you turn inward and gain insight on how to practice yoga off our mat.

What To Expect?

Yoga is different for everyone. So, try not to judge yourself and keep your mind open. Expect to receive a zoom link or recording from me. The recordings are all through vimeo. Once you’re ready to to the class either live or via the recording….set up a practice space: have a mat or blanket or whatever you have that works for you and a decent amount of open space around you.Set up your device (maybe with a charger) to play near your practice space. Being able to hear my voice is the most important thing, you don’t always need to see me. Click play or sign in…..and then practice. (:
